On Saturday, May 16 neighborhood volunteers got down and dirty to beautify the gardens in front of the Walnut Grove neighborhood sign in Walnut Grove Park. Madison’s Parks and Recreation Department supplied approximately 60 plants, at no cost, to WGHA. These native plants, including eight wild strawberries, eight digitalis purpurea, 16 begonias, and several types of sedges, should thrive in shade and partial shade.
