As you are all aware, these are currently some strange times we are living in. With restaurants closing and recommendations on social
distancing, self isolating, and self quarantining, it may be difficult for some of our neighbors to access the resources they need.
If you are a neighbor willing to offer assistance to others in need (grocery shopping, picking up medications, etc), please email walnutgrovemadison@gmail.com with your name, address, phone and email. If you are in need of assistance, please do the same. This is a time to come together. Do not be hesitant to ask for help. Nextdoor is another great resource to use.
No email access? Please reach out to your block captain who will help coordinate. The board will compile and circulate the final list to help connect everyone.
Other ideas? Coordinate a step out side time for your block! For instance, at 6pm every evening, you could encourage your block to step outside and wave from your front porches. Let’s just try to build and maintain a sense of community.
